    Hi Everyone,

I’m new to the group and have lost my direction so thought this area VA could be a great start to get me back on track, given my background Catering in the Military and working for NATO ( Real Life Services ( Supply of Food Services in Austere Conflict areas). I do have a wealth of experience in a vast array of areas admin, organising, time management, staff management negotiation skills, menu planning, budget control, health & safety, QMS Various Quality Management (Leader Auditor), contract validation, mobilisation and demobilisation of contracts and project management.

You may be surprised but I’m really not good at selling myself, I have lost my confidence and the list could go on. However I realise its time to get out of the rut and use the skills I have and put them to some use. I am reaching out to anyone experienced in VA who can steer me on the right path. I would be very grateful. I’m struggling to find a key area which I could streamline my skills to be successful in this role. Is there an entrepreneur bespoke VA job sites where I could look to see what people businesses are looking for. Any help or advise would be gratefully received. Thank you for reading ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜˜

Hi Pauline, sorry I have not been receiving notifications so did not see this. Firstly, yes you absolutely do have lots of skills that you could put to good use as a VA. You are certainly not alone when it comes to marketing yourself, this is very common and this is something lots of people are uncomfortable with. Start by taking some baby steps and bit by bit your confidence will grow. I answered your other question in the recent Q&A live but please let me know if you have any other questions x
